this show is ordered the way it is because it draws listeners out for longer. it means there is always something to look forward to in the interview part. they both give their reasons why their place is better and the last thing that happens is a final result. this is while the female presenter asks very open ended questions in order for the most full response possible from the guests. then there is a sweeper and she talks about the show. the news and sport follows on from this and then music.

(b) DJ / presenters

The presenter (Thordis Fridriksson)is often described as particularly friendly but equally formal and professional. i feel like she has a good mix and knows when to say the right things in the right way for an easy to listen to but informative radio station. i think this presenter has been chosen for her ability to be nice but still informative. they meet the needs of the target audience by being easy to listen to but knowledgeable and polite.



(c) Content

these people are grouped into different times. for example, the travel and news presenter would not come randomly. the female presenter and guest 1/2 are grouped and the news and travel presenters are grouped. this makes the show a lot easier to listen to.

there are two guests which both give their reasons why their place is better and the last thing that happens is a final result. this is while the female presenter asks very open ended questions in order for the most full response possible from the guests. then there is a sweeper and she talks about the show. the news and sport follows on from this. the live guest then comes on to talk about her specific area of expertise. this is much less open ended questions and more focused on quick sharp questions to keep the listener interested.

(d) Target audience

This show is appropriated to its target audience very well. if it extremely informative with occasional laughs. This perfectly fit their target audience. the show is designed to be informative, whilst still being slightly entertaining to listen to. Relatively serious topics are discussed in the news and in the live interview. the more light hearted first topic was still relevant to an older audience as they would be more able to travel to the beach by themselves or with family.
