The very early morning shows are early breakfast shows. a lot less interactive then later breakfast shows because it has a smaller audience.
Morning shows are very similar but include more news and more interaction because more people are awake. they have a chat related streak in them to come across happy and cherpy in the mornings
Afternoon shows are more chat related with review elements. they are typically for more mature audiences and are informative.
Evening shows are focused on entertainment. they have traffic updates more regularly and some have more of a focus on sports.

Overall the market share of BBC Cambridgeshire has gone down. The overall market share has gone down drastically since 1999.
In 199 they had just over 1,000,000 total hours listened to per month, to well below 1,000,000. The numbers have gone down by tens of thousands. this could be caused by the fact that podcasts area lot more popular now then they were in 1999, this has drawn people away from listening to radio shows.
In june 2005, itunes released a podcast to their servces, ever since then, podcasts have increased in quality, quantity and popularity
